School & Nursery Closure - Procedure

In the event of a school or nursery closure during the school day, we will send a text and email all parents to advise them of this.   If you need a different adult to collect your child from school or nursery, please email the school office at office@newarkfha to let us know.  There will always be staff at school and nursery until all children have been collected. 

If the school has to be closed in the morning before the start of the school day, we will send a text and email all parents to advise them of this.

Where possible, please try not to ring the school office to ask if the school will be closed.  We will let you know via the systems above.  If you have not heard school or nursery will be closed via text, email or by a message on the school website, we will be open.  

Please ensure that the office has your up-to-date phone number and email address.
